Launching: New E-learning Module on Education in Emergencies
The INEE Working Group on Minimum Standards developed a new e-learning module, "Learning Is Their Future: Darfuri Refugees in Eastern Chad" . The innovative multimedia module includes video, photographs, maps, articles and reports, organized around the five domains of the INEE Minimum Standards. Tailored specifically towards practitioners who may be new to the Education in Emergencies field, the module seeks to demonstrate why education should be a key component of humanitarian aid and to inform learners how to use the INEE Minimum Standards as a framework for strengthening education programming and policies. This module will be part of the Sphere E-learning Tool, which also includes"The Time after Tsunami" module demonstrating how the Sphere Standards can be used in practice.
